I love Cordelia. She's such an amazing woman and a strong character. She happens to be a sweet lady as well. She cries for her father, cares for him, regrets his decline and putting out by her sisters, and she wants to find him to help him. She forgives him for what he has done to her and still does all she can to fix the tragic problems going on. She is such a good character that you can't miss the Christian quality to this play, and she is the Christ-like figure.
And so this image of her came about. I was totally picturing her, when she began to cry, that she was at a table and turning away, tears streaming down her cheeks and her face turned away, seemingly rushing to move away and get away from but leaving behind a trail of her hair, her dress, her arms, her tears. I can picture Cordelia as a real person which is why I like her so much.
