Watching The Winter's Tale was definitely enlightening. And the trip was so much fun! Maybe I'll put up some of the boring pictures I took...
I liked watching the play. I also liked the new light it cast on my perception of the play. And I wanted to bring out one little thing I noticed: the girl's costumes. I noticed that Hermione wore white and purple often and her daughter only wore white. White is a symbol of purity and cleanliness. This is very important in the play, seeing as Hermione was never guilty and her daughter was only a victim of her father's rash actions. And purple is the color of royalty. Hermione was the queen and dressed up to that position. I found that most interesting. I also noticed that Paulina stood out in the costume department, but in a somewhat different way. She wasn't royal and she wasn't completely innocent but she was definitely crucial to the story.
